Fine Cat

Inscription: HERE LIVES A VERY FINE CAT INDEED

One of our best selling designs for over 20 years. This sells virtually anywhere.
Samuel Johnson (1709-84), compiler of the first English Dictionary, was not only a writer and critic, but also a renowned and witty conversationalist. Dr Johnson – as he is always known – was devoted to his cat Hodge who lived with him at 17 Gough Square, London.

Fine Dog

Inscription: HERE LIVES A VERY FINE DOG INDEED

Like the Fine Cat, the spin-off version we call Fine Dog has sold very well over many years.
We would like to think if Samuel Johnson had a dog he might well have said “Here lives a very fine dog indeed”.

Dimensions: 10.2cm x 10.5cm

Magnificat

Inscription: MAGNIFICAT

This proud cat sitting on a field of flowers has proved a good seller since its launch a few years ago. It sells in many types of outlet.
The Magnificat has occupied an important place in the Liturgy of the Church since around the fourth century – but here we have a play on words to sing the praises of a magnificent cat.

Dimensions: 10.5cm x 10.5cm

Lucky Cat

Although the origin of this design comes from the Far East it has been popular amongst cat lovers.
This is Tama the Beckoning Cat who is from Japan, and is known as the Maneki Neko. He greets you with a wave of his left paw and welcomes good fortune into your home or business. We like to think of him as the lucky Cat.
This tile was created to accompany the launch of a book, Tama the Cat in 2008 but we are free to sell it to any outlet.

Dimensions: 8cm x 10.3cm
